About the COS Football Giveaway

The COS Football Giveaway is a non-profit organization comprising a diverse team of sport enthusiasts. We are passionate about the benefits of sport and helping people. We plan to share our love for the game of football/soccer with children in impoverished communities around the world by delivering 3000 footballs or soccer balls each year. Our motto is “Active children enrich our world.”

 

The COS Football Giveaway has decided that the heart of Africa – Bujumbura, in Burundi with world’s lowest per capital GDP – is a great starting place for donating our footballs. The inaugural Burundi mission will take place at the end of August 2010. Following that, the COS Football Giveaway team will travel to a different economically impoverished region each year to donate your gifts of footballs and soccer balls.

 

We’ll be documenting these experiences online via YouTube, this website, and our Facebook group. We’ll keep you updated on the COS Football Giveaway team’s expeditions, demonstrating the power of sport – the power of giving – the power of a single football to transform children’s lives.
