To fulfill our dream of putting footballs in the hands – and at the feet – of needy children in Bujumdura, Burundi (click here to view), we need your help. If you have been searching for a way to give back, here is your chance. Become a Supporter [link], Donor [link], or Sponsor [link], or contribute in another unique fashion by fulfilling one of our mission requirements.
The COS Football Giveaway is challenging the world to find innovative ways to contribute. The August 2010 mission will require footballs, a shipping container, vehicles in Burundi, etc. The following list is far from exhaustive, so help us fill in the gaps! We’re ready to hear from you about how we can achieve our shared vision.
Each year, starting in 2010, we plan to donate 3000 balls. In August 2010, we will kick off our long-term campaign by delivering 3000 footballs to Bujumbura, Burundi in Africa. Immediately following the Burundi mission, the COS Football Giveaway will have two months for our team members to select our next destination, which should be able to demonstrate a clear need for the equipment. You can propose such a destination to the COS Football Giveaway team at that time. An example of a value proposition of interest to us would be a donor’s offer to transport the balls from one region to another for the COS Football Giveaway.
Uniquely, the COS Football Giveaway is a social network initiative, receptive to, and encouraging your support.
If you can contribute in any way, or know of someone who would be interested, Contact us. We are big kids with a vision. If you are interested in being a part of this global effort, contact us at info@theCOSfootballgiveaway.org.
Help us with what you know best. A few hours out of your year can make a significant impact.
